Beyond the agenda sessions, AWS Community Day Athens 2026 features interactive activities throughout the day.

At registration, you will receive a flyer with the sponsors’ logos. After the keynote, sponsors will stamp your flyer when you visit their booths. Once you collect all stamps, you can claim one limited AWS Community Day Athens T-shirt at the registration desk and enter a raffle for a prize.

T-shirts are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Capture The Flag by Hack The Box

Throughout the event, a Capture the Flag challenge organized by Hack The Box will be running for all attendees who want to participate.

Bringing your own PC is required to participate.

Capture The Flag (CTF) is a hands-on cybersecurity competition where players and teams solve security challenges to earn points on a live scoreboard. For this event, it is run on the Hack The Box CTF platform, where organizers manage event settings, participants, and content throughout the day.

To participate you will need to:

  • Join the platform
  • Create a new team or join an existing one. You can participate solo or with a partner.
  • Get the code from the email you received from AWS Community Day Athens

How your day in the CTF will run:

  • The event starts automatically at 08:00 on 28/04
  • There will be 10 challenges of increasing difficulty
  • You and your team solve challenges throughout the day and collect points
  • Scores are tracked on the live scoreboard as teams progress
  • The scores are locked in at 17:00 on 28/04
  • Winners are announced during the closing ceremony after the Fireside Chat

Expo

At the expo, all sponsors who helped make this event happen will be there, along with community partners present at dedicated tables. Be sure to visit them, learn what they do, and start discussions about the cool things you are building on AWS.

After Party Event

After the event, around 18:00, a “wild” van will arrive at the venue with cocktails, beers (with and without alcohol), snacks, and music, so everyone can relax, network, and dance.

Fireside Chat + Closing Ceremony

All winner announcements will take place during the closing ceremony, after the Fireside Chat.
