Bio

Andreas Chatzakis is leading AI Specialists for AWS in EMEA and runs AWS’s GenAI transformation programs for some of EMEA’s most ambitious customers. His team’s work is centered around bringing AWS’s leading AI capabilities and guiding organizations from initial pilots towards larger scale Agentic transformation. In the past Andreas has led the Startups business for AWS in EMEA, leading Sales and Business Development after previously having built the Solutions Architecture organization for the same unit. Before Amazon he was the CTO and co-founder of Greece’s leading Real Estate portal (Spitogatos.gr) and his background also includes 5 years of Information Security consulting at Accenture.

To close AWS Community Day Athens 2026, we will bring the day’s key themes together in a fireside chat with Andreas Chatzakis.

After a full day of sessions on agentic AI, security, developer tools, data platforms, and the evolving role of builders, this conversation will reflect on what these shifts mean for the AWS community in Greece, Southeast Europe, and the broader EMEA region.
